Hello Lovelies,
I'M AMIE!

Warmest welcome and thank you from the bottom of my heart for visiting my website, it truly means the world to me. I'd love to share a little about myself and more importantly the "why" behind my choice to run a couples and portrait photography business.
I grew up in Cockatoo, a little town just over an hour from Melbourne city and I think it has had a huge impact on the way I see the world. If I don't get out in nature enough, I get out of sorts, and I'll never get sick of listening to the birds sing and watching the grass dance as the wind rushes through it. Outside in the open space is where I find peace and comfort. I am largely an introvert and love listening to Hazlett and Jeremy Zucker, I'm a classic overthinker trying to work out how not to be, and I love that I get to capture God's creation through a little box and piece of glass that records light. I've been a professional photographer since my first year out of uni (which is not what I studied), taking photos of shoes, linen and editing real estate listings, but nothing compares to capturing genuine connection between people.

After welcoming our first little one in late 2024, I realised just how important it is to capture life in the here and now. All these moments that we take for granted slowly slip by with not much more than a few photos on our phones as a memory. Your story matters. The love you share, the family you raised, the person you've become, matters. If I can capture even the smallest trace of the love you carry, and from a feeling, turn it into something you can hold on to, I can't think of a bigger blessing. I was made to capture your beauty and give honour to your story, so your great grandchildren know of the love that has gone before them.

Lots of love,
Amie xx

"We had so much fun taking photos with Amie, she shared her creative ideas so thoughtfully and joined in our laughter. At times we forgot that she was photographing us and this captured the love in our relationship so beautifully. With the use of vintage colours and stunning location, it's like Josh and I were in a movie. Amie feels like a long-lost friend and it was a total joy to connect with her."
